Is it really permanent? Can I have it removed?

It’s intended for long-term wear, but it can be removed at any time with scissors or wire cutters if needed. Many clients wear theirs for months or years with proper care.

Does the welding hurt?

Not at all! The welding process is quick, safe, and never touches the skin. Most people are surprised by how fast and easy it is.

We offer high-quality chains in materials such as:

Can I shower or swim with permanent jewelry?

Yes! Our jewelry is designed for everyday wear, including showering and daily activities. Frequent exposure to chlorine or saltwater may shorten the life and shine of the jewelry. We recommend rinsing and drying your piece after a dip in the pool.

How long does an appointment take?

Most appointments take approximately 10–15 minutes depending on the number of pieces and customizations selected.

Is there an age requirement?

Children under 18 require a parent or guardian present. 

Can you travel with permanent jewelry?

Our chains are TSA friendly, so you never have to worry about removing your pieces before traveling. 

Is it safe to wear during surgery/ MRI?

Always consult your doctor if you need your jewelry removed beforehand. Permanent jewelry is not recommended for those with a gold or silver sensitivity or a pacemaker installed.

Can you make an appointment? 

Yes,  please refer to the services tab at the top of our website. Appointments are made in 15 minute increments. Please note each time slot is valid for one person. If you are arriving with a friend or family member, please book back to back appointments so we can accommodate you. 

Why is there a deposit required when I book? 

We require a $25 non-refundable deposit at booking to secure your spot due to high demand. If you are unable to make your appointment or need to reschedule, we kindly ask that you contact us beforehand at (860) 617-3232. Failure to notify us prior to your appointment time will result in your deposit being forfeited.

Do you take walk-ins? 

Yes, we do accept walk-ins whenever availability allows. However, walk-in appointments are not guaranteed and may be limited during busy times or special events. We recommend booking an appointment in advance to ensure we can accommodate you and give you the full experience.

How do I care for my permanent jewelry?

Due to normal wear and individual skin chemistry, The Silver Dahlia is unable to replace jewelry that becomes dull, darkened, or discolored over time. To clean your piece, gently wipe the metal with a soft cloth as needed.

My bracelet broke- will you fix it?

Yes! If your bracelet happens to come off within 30 days of your appointment, we’ll happily re-weld it for you free of charge. After 30 days, a $10 re-welding fee will apply.
